We’ve added the first update to DayDawn. Thanks to the setup system we’re using, we are able to easily update everything. Really easily.
We have added quite a lot on this new update: we added a quest log (functions perfectly with the first quest, Killing The Slimes). I also added a part of a new quest, which I’m still working on. Will be finished in a next update.
WE DO NOT GIVE AWAY THE CLIENT OF DAYDAWN YET. THESE UPDATES ARE ONLY FOR OUR CLOSED PRE-ALPHA TESTERS

Hello everyone!
First of all – let me introduce us, NightQuest Software.
We’re a new and young team of developers that recently have aquired the license and rights on the DayDawn and CelticQuest franchise. We’re now developing the new versions of DayDawn and we do with the games as we please.
You might ask why Acida Software doesn’t continue the development itself?
It’s simple: Acida Software went bankrupt. The lack of money in these harsh economic times took a toll on Acida Software. When their server was blocked because of an uploaded phising page (a security leak allowed this), they lost everything, and they didn’t had the money nor the time to continue.
That’s where we come in: we contacted the owner of Acida Software, Aron, and we talked about getting the rights and sourcecode of the original DayDawn and all of their other products, which we succesfully aquired.
We have already started the development of DayDawn, and we’re using a brand new editor, RPG Maker VX, and we’ll be using a few new and neat tricks: a cool new battle system (battles on the map, which reminds which foes you’ve killed and the foes you haven’t), and the ability to play with 3 different hero’s (not at the same time.. you’ll be one of these!)… And that’s just the beginning
Except some screenshots to come soon…
